Making your own path or markings in Starry Night

I am trying to mark my own path in Starry Night v6.4 for asteroid DA14 for the night of Feb 15/16. SN's path calculation is way off due I suspect to the asteroid only being a few Earth radii away. I want to enter the track as seen against my local stellar background.

I can't see how to do it. The graphing tool is used to track SN calcs. I want to enter my own series of positions either by inputing coords or simply marking them on the sky. I suspect the programmers didn't envisage this and it's not possible short of exporting the sky image and editing in photoshop.

Anyone know how?

Joe

I am running the current Enthusiast version of Starry Night. I have tried to do the same but there is no option to do it in my version.

I understand that my simpler version of this software does not allow for this method of data entry, but it would be a pity if the Pro version did not have this facility.

I forgot that Starry Night have so many versions and should have mentioned that I am using Starry Night's Pro Plus v6.4.3.
