Last week I put three trail cameras out in a 5000 acre property to observe wildlife,thinking not much rain would be about-how wrong that was!,we were unable to collect cameras for over a week as the rain made the track impassable.I did ponder about the fate of my cams-but they are made to be left outside,but was relieved to get them back and see all was in perfect working order.

One location was on a little dam,but its was no longer little-see images before and after,one of my cams was on larger tree on right.Also the dam looks like now a good spot to try some nightscape images.

All of the cams picked up good wildlife footage-eagles,foxes,and this rather interesting clip of four dingos coming into feed on some tid bits for local mobile butcher.

Thanks Morton and Carlos,yes Carlos the dingos/wild dogs can be a problem at times to the land holders-one property not too far away lost twenty calves to dog attacks this year.So at times we do a few things to reduce numbers,although I personally would like to get more good video clips and images with my good camera gear.The land owners form syndicates-i.e they pool money and pay to have dogs reduced,so helps pay for some of my camera gear,sometimes they offer $1000 for one particular dog,I gave a young lady on a remote property a tutorial on trapping and she got a dog that was causing big issues on a sheep property and got $500 plus the council bounty.

But at the moment,my main interest is these dams for some reflection photography.I'll be busy getting 10-22 mm lens and gear out for a crack at some nightscape photography over next week,while dams are all full,I particularly like this dam,but there is another much closer to home.

Wow Chris I can definately appreciate that they're pest, I'd be scared to sit out there at night imaging or in a tent and then have a pack of wild dogs or dingos turn up!

Different story on public property but if you have cattle sheep or just game in general then you gotta do what you gotta do. Good Job
