Just figured out there is a 200KB limit. The Gif is on Spaceweather if you want a look. It will be on my new web site later next week with other high res stuff. I wish I could have got todays prom David, maybe tomorrow!!

sorry i don't know much about solar imaging, is the fourth pic, with the blacked out disc, done through computer processing? Or a different filter?

It is done in Photoshop.The idea is to select the overexposed sun disc and fill it with any colour you like to stop the glare from the disc. Most use black.
