* Price Drop* BORG 76ED APO plus Extra's

Borg 76 ED APO Refractor

Completely modular (meaning you can add an objective to turn it into an 45ED or 100ED scope for instance, or completely customise it into a f/4 astrograph) , which includes :

Borg 76ED w/ Japanese Lens
M57 Helical Focuser
Adapters to go down to the included 1.25 EP holder.
Includes the adaptors for full recommended configuration (M77.6-->M60AD, M68.8-->M75AD, M68.8-->M57AD)
Pelican 1500 Case
Customised Parallax Rings to go with it
2 x Canon Camera Adapter Mount (Suits Canon and Minolta)
William Optics 45 degree erect image prism Diagonal
Am including a Celestron 26mm Plosl too.

This means it includes all adapters to turn OTA into a Telescope, Spotting scope or Telephoto Lens. (Extremely adaptable)

The Borg are also prized as superb spotting scope, due to weight (Just 2.5kg!!!!), reliability and optics.

I have loved using it, including it's extreme portability, just takes a minute or two to assemble and disassemble into a camera bag or case.

Has ability to move the helical focuser to the front of the OTA for easier focusing, especially when there is heavy imaging equipment or eyepieces involved, because the focuser only has to move the mass of the lens. Benefits both visual and astrophotography and also easy balance because the front focusing position uses the weight of the focuser to offset the weight of the camera and reducer/flattener.

Picture attached of shots taken with a basic 450D camera.

Item is located in Brisbane, Australia. Pickups (Brisbane Southside) are welcome, or can ship, buyer pays freight.

Item is also listed on Astromart for $900, prefer to sell to a iceinspace member for $800. I've loved it, but need to sell because I need the cash.

+3% paypal if you want to pay that way. Weighs just 6.7kg with Case, 2.5 without. Shipping of the lot to Sydney for just $20.

Price reduce to $750

Hi Jethro. What is the 4 digit product number of the focuser. Borg have quite a range.

Regards,

Rowland.

The only information I can provide is that it is a M57 Helical Focuser. My money is on the 7857, though I can't be sure, as I just don't know how to tell the difference - If you provide further information on where to look, how to tell, I will provide you with that information.
