C8 Mounted

Hi.

Theres going to be times when I can't get to Lesters place to do some imaging through my C9.25 that is now mounted on his Goliath mount & 14" Meade SCT...or in the case of the other morning, I woke up early & wanted to image venus, but it was just too inconvenient to drive 18 K's to his place at 5am

So Lester has kindly loaned me his C8 & I have just finished mounting it on my EQ5 that the C9.25 was on.

I used the bar that came screwed to the C9.25 OTA. It's a bit long for the C8 but it fits. No I won't be cutting the excess off either

My 900nc should be rocking up next week, so I'll probably use the 840K in the C8.

Stay tuned for yet another shootout! C9.25 Versus C8???

YEAHH!!

What a nice unit, C8 same colour as the dovetail bar. Thats probabley a better scope for that mount than the 9.25 .

Now what size holes do I need to cut and where? How many for a 9.25? More than a C8 would need.
