Jupiter Sequence - 3 Jan

The best three images from a series of 19 clips taken on the night.. just shows how challenging this apparition is from my location

Imaged at F25 with Meade variable Barlow, 1/109 sec exposure. Each source avi 6000 frames in length, Y800 Y800 mode at 60 fps. 700 frame stack using 100 align points.

Thanks for comments guys, overall I am pretty happy with this set although colour balancing and noise reduction are something I'm still struggling with.. John, I will take your advice and calibrate the colour during capture next time.

Here are a couple of post wavelet images (at F20 and F25) before any ACDSee enhancements, I think they have more natural look to them despite the noise. In the end it's so easy to make eveything look like a crayon drawing

Cheers,
Seb

WOW, if I got an image half as good as this one, I'd be over the moon... that looks amazing. Well done.
