Hi guys

Another shot from last new moon, and unfortunately the color was shot through cloud so extremely bad.....I'm used to pushing ****e up hill!

Anyway hopefully I've cleaned It up enough so It can still be enjoyed.

Optics: BabyQ/f/3.8

That's a fine effort, Louie! You'd never know you had problems with the colour data.

Nicely done Louie. If you hadn't mentioned it I would never have known you had problems with the colour.

Cheers

Steve

Hi Paul

Thank you for the feedback.....so much dust around this region....a huge mosaic would be very cool.

Happy NY!

Hi Steve

Thanks very much mate!yeah, you wouldn't believe how polluted the RGB was,I was almost ready to dump It but decided the challenge in trying to deal with It would be invaluable for future tutorials.

There have been times Ive seen great conditions at Coonabarabran, this wasn't one of them.....the worst Ive seen !

On the up side,at least I didn't have mount problems

All the best for 2013 Steve!

Hi Louie,

A beautiful, sharp photo.

Great composition.

An amazing amount of detail and I think the colours look great.

I would love to see a photo of yours that you are happy with!

Thanks.

Ross.

Hi Louie,
it looks ok to me.
If you compare to say this image:

http://www.astrofoto.ca/stuartheggie...P155_U16M.html

your blue areas are not as large - I don't know whether the guy who processed
that image just turned up the blue or whether the dusty areas
in your image are suppposed to have no blue?

In any case - well done under difficult conditions.

cheers
Allan
