New Year's Eve Shooting Star

Whilst trying to catch an image of the North Korean satellite, this bright yellow meteor streaked across the field of view.

In the still image, the gaps are from the 4 frames/sec shutter of the EOS 600D. At top left is the tail of Canis Major, at bottom right is the False Cross

My Son and I saw a Meteor each this NYE. I think we both wished for the same thing....
