Where to get new foam??

Hi All,

I'm thinking a trip to Clark Rubber, but does anyone have ideas for where to get new foam for the inside of an EP carry case? I've got a few new additions to my EP collection and I'd like to remodel the inside of the case, I don't think the original foam will have enough capacity (with all the 1.25" holes cut in it)

Thanx in advance

VAZ

I went to Clarke Rubber to look at the perforated tear-out foam. The price was crazy.
I then went to Bunnings and bought a new case, which includes two layers of the perforated foam, for less.

The high density foam from Clark Rubber is pretty exy but makes a lot neater case insert than pluck foam. You do need a piece of thinwall 1.25" pipe with the end sharpened. A piece of 10 or 12mm on the bottom, then a bit of 50mm so you can cut right through. Rectangular holes can be cut neatly with a tomato knife.

I tried the pluck foam from Clark Rubber. Unfortunately they only had one size which was a bit inconvenient.
