For sale : a 2.3 meter Sirius observatory with storage locker and a solar powered air vent. Purchased late 2006 and still in very good condition. Refer to the Sirius website for specifications.

The dome is still erected in Glen Waverley, but would be disassembled for pickup / transport. Includes all original books, paperwork and receipts.

As a point of clarification, this is a fully manual dome and shutter. New from Sirius you would expect to pay around the $8,000 to $9,000 mark plus shipping.

For remote operation you can buy add-on motors and Maxdome gear from Sirius and this will set you back about $7,000 for the dome and the shutter.
