AR1638 and AR1640

Sol is putting a good display this week. Some pretty nice lookin active regions close together.

I have included the mono version and the colour version. Not sure which I like better.

Hi Paul
Excellent details. I always have the debate as to whether to colour or not. I think it is dependent on the greyscale and details. I also try and change the colour hues around, which can make a big difference. One hue might be distracting, whereas the other compliments the details. Typically I move from a orangy colour as you use to a mustard yellow. In your case I like the mono version.

B/W or Colour

Very nice Paul. I have all ways kept a mono image as well as colour.
Both show different detail.

Lovely work once more Paul, the details and tonal range look film-like, i.e. smooth, continuous transitions rather than digitized steps.

Cheers

Dennis
