I was pleasantly surprised to find that KStars can now run under Windows - the loader is available at:
http://edu.kde.org/kstars/indi/
I had played with this program when it was bundled with my little old Linux-based eeePC701 way back when they were first released (6 years or so I think) and found it a good Planetarium program for the observatory. Now it has INDI functionality making it possible to guide, focus, image etc with it.
I just downloaded the latest relase and am planning to have a good play while the weather is so lousy.
I know several others have raised KStars in different threads over the past couple of years and they may be interested to have another look.
