Another decaying Geminid meteor train

I found a much brighter decaying Geminid meteor train and processed it a bit more strongly to make it easier to see (720p available):

Enjoy!

Details: 6 secs @ 6 fps, each frame was 10 sec, f/2, ISO 6400 taken with a Canon 5DmkII and 35 mm f/1.4L on a fixed tripod.

Thats a beautiful timelapse, little is known about the composition of trains so all the more interesting.

John.

Thanks Dave - that is awesome indeed! I think the softer processing in your earlier one is superior (but this one stands out more as you designed).

Thanks John! I'm looking forward to the next big meteor shower... Eta Aquarids in May, I think?

Thanks Matt! Perhaps I'll have to try tracked exposures next time to make background subtraction work better.

Thanks Bob. Yes it indeed was another meteor + train. It shows up nicely in the full frame, but I cropped a corner for this video.
