first jupiter

hello members
this is my first crack at jupiter.......... i iam forced to try other things because of the lack of opportunities due to: urban skies, cloud, storms, a moon and a list of other horrors ha ha!
there are things very wrong of course however i am very pleased because this can double my telescope time
movie crop mode 60da
more than 3000 frames (mistake number 1?)
a little out of focus, and i am not that skilled yet at determining sky conditions but i found it hard to get a good focus on the liveview
first go at registax

Lol. No problems Pat. Reckon you had bad seeing on this night. Usually the reason why it's hard to get good focus. Might pay to check collimation too. Oh & cooldown times - the longer the better. And.............No that'll do for now!

in truth i have never collimated my scope.... seems a bit scary and i am afraid that i will make it worse and i wont be able to recover, but i will have to do it at some stage though.
