Question Ursids meteor shower tonight?

I have been searching everywhere, but I cannot find any australian sites that talk about the ursid meteor shower peak tonight/tomorrow morning. I can only find American discussions. Does anyone know the best time to view them tonight? Or would it be tomorrow night if they are talking American time?

I want to take my camera out tonight but don't know what time is the best time?

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Warren

Hi Warren and Welcome, the Ursid, meteors have a zhr or (zenith hourly rate) of about 12 per hour, but with a declination of + 75 (North) are too far north to be of any observational value for us down under, and for you being so far south even more so.
Cheers
Just a quick tip, sometimes it is easier to just google it
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ursids
PS The astronomical publication "Astronomy 2013" will give you lots of information on coming events>
Available at most good book shops
