ouch!!! bricks

well im layed up on the lounge with a hell of a swollen foot...
went to work yesterday and was removing a damaged brickwall that been damaged in the last heavy rains up here.removed a few truck loads and the last of it we were going to knock over do it every day as it my job and one of those things the wall landed on my foot...ouch thank goodness it didn't get me around the knee height it would have been real ugly!!!!!!!!i knew i was in trouble but kept on working to finish job...finally got home and with the help of me work mate got my leather boot of and it had damaged the top of my foot and begain to swell badly...elise come home and well she works in medical and things happened pretty fast x-ray,crutches and dressings
and broke my bloody foot i have to get the swelling down and they are going to fit a boot on monday for 6 damn weeks......
i shouldn't complain as if it hit me further up the leg i would be in heaps of trouble!!!!!!!!!!!!!
can't even get into the dome to use my scope but maybe mon or tue fingers crossed..hope to be back to work next thursday giving the buys a hand,it's always the way work comes on and this.....anyway 8 in the morning and bored already looks like i'll be doing some posting over the next few days..

oh the cricket starts today and the v8's on the weekend

You're very lucky indeed. People tend to forget how heavy a small batch of bricks are, let alone a small wall.

mate they were dry pressed or solids 2.5 tonnes per thousand aroud 600 come down in one hit..but 5 were stuck together and got me.. the highest one's of course...

man i was lucky.....

My spider bite is getting better but still a few issues with the leg. Coffs Funnel Web, they think.

That's a bit drastic, just so you can watch Punter's last test and the V8s! Surely complaining of a headache would have been enough?

thanks all for your thoughts....
been a boring day at home but the cricket was exciting to watch..hobbled into the pool for a bit.once they brace it i will be mobile again....

would be nice but work is heavy before xmas..once its braced on monday hope to go back on thursday...6 weeks with a bloody brace
