I was wondering when this shot was going to pop up! The Tarantula doesn't look as red as I expected. must have had some treatment.

Thanks guys. I'll tone the blue down.

Malcolm, good comment though maybe at 50mm it just wasn't pulling in enough to show the red hue...?

Thanks Jen. Didn't manage to get everything working so resorted to some widefields and star trails

It was either that or sit in the tent and swear for another 2 nights!

Peter - DSLR mounted to roughly polar aligned EQ5. Exposures were 3mins at 800ISO.
