Tarantula Nebula - updated

Last night was my first imaging session since my baby girl Charlotte was born (5 months ago). In fact, it was only the second time I had taken the telescope out during that time.

Nothing special but here's some early Tarantula data. Happy to get back into the swing of things!

Scope: 8" Newt
Mount: EQ6
Camera: Modded 30D
Camera settings: ISO800 @ 300secs
Subs: 8
Very basic processing in CS3

Thanks Ross.

I captured another 1hr 20mins last weekend (2hr total). Here's the result. I think focus was slightly soft though and I'm not impressed with the way the top left corner looks.
