M46 & m47

I've got the raw frames inside the hard disk without processing them
for too long time, but at last I felt like it was the right time to
bring this image to light. It is so old that I don't own the equipment
I used for this anymore, but doesn't change the fact that I personally
like this image. Please take into consideration that from my site is quite low in the sky at meridian (arond 30° of elevation)

http://www.skymonsters.net/immagine....g=M46M47_b.jpg

I also inserted, beyond the high res version by clicking on the image,
a couple of crops of two planetary nebulas.

I hope you like it

Interesting image Nicola, I like the presentation on your web site
the close ups show a lot of detail and colour

This is a very nice image Nicola, even more when the low elevation it gets in Italy is taken into account. I remember I tried long a got this one from a not so dark skies in my hometown countryside backyard and got little more than lots of colorful gradients

Very well done

Ciao
Marco
