Rho orphiacus and Antennae with 5DH

Heres a pic taken with the 5DH and 300mm lens from Bert.
10x12 mins ISO200. 5DH camera. lens stopped down to f3.5
lerger version here

Also the Antennae with the 10 inch f5.6 scope
13x10 mins ISO200
larger version here
With the full frame sensor I fitted in nearby NGC 4027 near top left
Light pollution is a pain when taking unfiltered pics under Newcastle skies but cant be helped. Still colour film images like this would be impossible, digital really allows one to go deeper even in city skies.

Hi Scott,

Like the Rho image, nice perspective.
You chose a tuff target with the antennae, especially from light polluted skies. I imaged recently and still playing around in PS trying to get the best out of it.

Cheers,

Justin.

Hi Scott, I like both images, as you might have guessed I like the Rho region, I have never attempted the Antennae and from polluted skies that is a great effort

cheers
Richard
