Thanks everyone for your nice birthday wishes! I find it amazing that I feel no different from when I turned 18 way back in 1978, except that I will probably be a lot more sober at the end of the night than I was back then (Reschs Draught and Scotch & Dry were the preffered celebratory drinks in those days)!!
As for astro prezzies, I'd already bought some stuff a few months back that was ear-marked as my present for this birthday. However I've been getting some money in cards as the day's gone on so I should be able to buy some more desperately needed equipment!
