The Helix, more data.

Hi,

Added some more data to my earlier Helix, a total of 2 hours 48 minutes now. I went for 8 minute exposures, which seems the limit for the canon 1100D.
The data was not great as the seeing was crap and a lot dew, still it's showing more internal structure.

Cheers,

Justin.

A great effort Justin....you really do need good seeing on this one for a sharp data set.

Thanks Jorge and Louie!

Your right Louie, I think the Helix is going to take quite a few attempts to get right.

Cheers,

Justin.

Nice Job Justin. This one's on my list to try when I get a scope for my mount instead of just a camera, camera lense lense and guide scope.

Hi Justin,

Great looking photo.

Very nice colours and lots of faint detail.

Ross.

Thanks jjj, Rex and Ross!

jj this one's tuff! Don't know if I'll ever get much of the outer loop, but I'll keep at it.

Cheers,

Justin.

You are doing a top job with that camera Justin. To show the outer loop and also get internal structure= well done. I also have done some planetary nebula imaging lately, but the seeing has been very unstable. All the best.

Thanks Lester!

Hope your seeing improves, it hasn't been too bad here that's when it's not cloudy.

Cheers,

Justin.
