Shiny motorcycles and some blue sky.

Had a group visit the property for lunch today, they were a group with very colourful shiny motorcycles they did a circuit from Brisbane through to Esk and our place before heading home.I almost expected them to cancel as the weather has been awful, but they enjoyed their day out and the weather cleared with some blue sky!

I took some quick images with 10-22 mm lens, this is a lovely sharp wide lens, have not used it for many months,so thought I'd try something different.Second image is one of those silly different images, that will no doubt end up in the bin,but thought it was fun at the time.

Hope these are worth a look, thanks for viewing-Cheers Chris

BTW I have no idea of the make of these bikes-simply saw a quick and different photographic opportunity,so quickly took a few photos.

Mostly Honda Goldwings (Looks like third from the front is a Harley...?)

Looks like a lot better weather there than here today! I watched MotoGP qualifying before lunch today then ducked outside after lunch and was back inside not long after with the start of hypothermia! It got 6.6°C just before lunch but it was 4.3°C (down to 0.3°C with windchill) while I was outside. Spent the rest of the day sorting out computers (at least its inside!).

Yes Al,Goldwings-they were called they goldwing club,I am afraid I'm not much into motorcycles. They looked like having 25 then yesterday they said 21,then this morning they rang and had 15 in group-I was happy they still came! the weather has been awful here. The blue skies in photos do not tell the story of what its been like here for days-if it had have been cloudy,I doubt I'd have taken the photos.

The group enjoyed looking around, and I opened the observatory and rolled the roof off,and I put the scope on some wedge tail eagles in tall trees down the paddock-it was quite a highlight for them.
