Moon 7th July

After spending about 3 hours drift aligning the moon came up and it was so cold the scope was dripping wet, my fingers and toes were frozen. So i set the camera to take 100 shots of the moon then packed up and went inside.

So here is 100 images stacked in Registax, processed in CS5 & cropped
Saxon ED100
Canon 1100d modded
ISO-200
1/160sec

Feedback most welcome as this is the first time i've stacked moon images.

You know what it's like when you first start off Matt. It's damn frustrating. It won't be long before you get the hang of it Paula.

Hopefully in a few weeks I'll have the heq5 and i'll spend less time drift aligning and more time imaging!
