Smile Venus Transit from cloudy Auckland

1.16pm

Sony Nex-5N
ISO 100
f/18
1/4000 s
(no scope)

at 11 in the morning, I managed to project the shadow onto a sheet of white paper with my finder scope. that was exciting!

then it was cloudy all day and I didn't have any of the gear you should have like filters, glasses andwhatnot, anyway.

I gave it a go after lunch. and the camera did see it! yay!

I'm happy with it
