Finially , got the photos out of my HTC ..

Better late than never , I suppose .
Had no end of trouble getting the Venus transit photos out of my HTC ,, They would just dissappear into my computer some where , they may pop up some day in the future ???
I took about 130 images during the whole transit and as it stands there is at least 650 or more images rattling around in my computer somewere ..
Hope you all enjoy , taken using my 127 triplet , Kendrik solar filter and my good old HTC smartphone 17MM Nagler and 22mm Panoptic eyepieces .
Brian.

Nice shots Brian ......as for your missing photos... Take a look in your ' my pictures' folder on the computer ..... Sometimes, by default ... Windows will put them in there.

Nice Scope to...!

Ill try that thanks , Flash .
It has not done this before , oh well .they are in there somewere .
Very memorable day , I got the whole transit from this one position , with rough and ready allignment , under my deck so there was no GPS lock and the IEQ45 performed flawlessly , I only had to adjust DEC once in 6 hours , nice tracking .

Nice shooting Brian, I know the trouble you have had with the HTC, my wife has one and it is the biggest load of crap she's ever used.
Been fighting with Telstra for ages, as it just failed continuously.
Testra just dose not listen to customers, and fail on every count for customer service

I hear you Leon , my HTC is a good phone and it takes great photos , this is the first trouble I have had in 12 months , I think it was more me ,, eg , a few to many beers .. out in the sun all day .
I had the same sort of Telstra problems a few years ago with a Sony phone , a flawed piece of c%#p , , all Telatra would do is "SEND IT BACK " 5 times ,,,
for repairs and I was paying a bill for 7 months in total for a phone I didnt have , Oh they said , go on line and your bill will be vaivered ??? I did that 4 times ,,, Still waiting , Telstra ??
Usuless customer service !!.
They take your money and forget you as soon as you walk out the door , I smashed that phone to smithereens after the 2 years contract expirted and tipped the bag of bits on the counter and walked out .. Hope your wifes woes are sorted soon ,,,
,,, I wont hold my breath tho ...
Brian.

Your right there Brian .... Telstra couldn't give a ' brass rarzoo ' about customer service ... they take your money and run... try and go back for some help with phone issues .... they ' dodge and weave ' all over the place hoping you will just go away.

I gave Telstra away more than 15years ago .... never been back ... and won't be. Some of the complaints I've heard astounded me ... false numbers turning up on peoples phone bill ( numbers they never rang ) ... double charging on services ...woeful Internet service ... drop out's on mobile phones ... and on and on.

Anyway hope Leon's wife get's it sorted with her phone.

Great pictures to mate. .... regards ..Flash
