3 Planetaries in this image, and NGC 6188 area

Howdy all
Processed another image I took a few nights back, this one has 3 identifiable planetary nebulae in it.

Taken with my 6 inch F3.6 scope, Modded 350d , UHCS and MPCC
3 x 200 sec, ISO 800. Processed (darks and flats) in Iris.

I think they might require a 20 inch dob under a dark sky to see visually, and ESO 135-04 might need a 40 inch, its VERY faint. I pushed everything to the limit to get these little planetaries

Also got NGC 6188 region, also with the 6 inch, same exposure setting as above., full size here

Wow 3 planetaries in one image great work! Gee I love the Norma Nebula, your image shows how large it is. Looks like the Baader MPCC really makes a difference on that 'scope.

Nice shot of 6188 Scott , one of my favorite ares in the southern mikyway and should go to the top of my list of things to image with the 10" and DSLR .
The way your going with the 6" you won't mis the 10" at all .

Yes Im having fun with the 6 inch, though I will be keen to see what a fresh mirror coat can do with the 10 inch.

I thought I'd put up the charts I generated with Star Atlas pro to locate these objects. Its especially valuable for finding the faint planetaries. I orient the camera so its the same as the red rectangle in the chart, long axis running east-west, then position it so the brighter stars are as seen in the chart. When digital imaging came along I quickly realised all previous star charts were no longer adequate. Much of the deep south has been neglected, even in bigger star atlases like Uranometria.

Ive not really used the 6 inch much untill the 10 inch mirror was away for aluminising. I must confess I would have used it more often had I known the Coma Corrector made such a difference. Its also nice to guide with as being a shorter focal length its more forgiving, and faster. It also makes the system portable, potentially allowing me to get it to the next Lostock if Im able to go
