Thanks very much Ray, looking through my data since April 10th and looking at Birds data I am of the opinion that the apparent changes we are seeing at the moment relate more to changes in the seeing than any intrinsic brightening of the spot. Over the years many of these SED's related spots have brightened quite rapidly over a month or so and this one seems to be just maintaining its brightness. Hopefully it will turn into something special over the coming weeks, certainly worth imaging it at every opportunity.

No need to apologize at all Asi I am in the exact same boat, since receiving notification that Cassini RPWS had detected SED's on April 10th I have gone into full on Saturn storm mode. Imaged the source the night Georg sent out the email and since I have imaged it on every possible occasion, we can see it on 3 out of every 4 nights. It has worked out that it is visible around 3am, midnight and then about 8:30pm followed by a night where it is not available at all. I am swimming in data, have some Mars data from the first couple of nights that I captured while waiting for the storm and just have not been able to get to it.

Thanks very much Paul, it would have been all the more enjoyable if you & Bird had been here to share it with.
