CARINA + MOGG reducer

Hi All,
Got DEW ZAPPED the other night, then came the cloud, but took one single exposure (framing one) of 2 Min. using the ED80 + the MOGG reducer at F-4.65 and the Canon EOS300D (modded) before it all happened, Im amaized at the sensitivity of the Canon in getting such a good picture for only 2 Mins. exposure (the others would have been 4 Min.) here is quite a bit of Coma due the the F/R not having any correction, but a nice picture anyway, 1 x 2 Min. Exp. at ISO 800 guided (3 Min. DF from another time removed).

cheers..........Jim

Nice pic there indeed. If you can get ahold of a Multi Purpose Coma Corrector, it may correct most if not all of the coma too, it works on Schmidt Newtonians, not 100% sure how it would go on a refractor but it should work.
