fireball detection

Hi All,

Is anyone got a camera setup for fireball / meteor detection ?
If so what are people using combined with what software?

Hi

When I was part of Rob McNaught's eastern fireball network we used old Canon T70s ( 35mm film ) with command backs and 16mm fisheyes .
Things have changed a lot since then so maybe getting in touch with Rob would be best.
I guess it also depends on wether you want to do science with the gear in which case you need to have other like minded people spread around the State or if you just want to get some snaps of meteors for fun.
