Canon 1000D sensor assemblies - EOI
I have two Canon 1000D complete sensor assemblies. One brand new and the other from a used camera that I bought for parts, as far as I know as new condition.
My intention is to modify each sensor to either full spectrum (removal of factory IR filter) or enhanced spectrum (IR filter replaced with Astrodon inside filter - covering the 600nm wavelength).
These units are surplus to my needs and would be offered as direct replacements for your cameras existing sensor assembly, thereby avoiding the filter modification.
If you are interested please PM me. The filter replacements will be carried out in a dust free benchtop cubicle and I will supply flat fields of each modified sensor. I don't plan on making a business of this. Just offering these two units to IIS members.
