Nebulae in the LMC

Here's an are of the LMC that's got heaps of stuff in it.

This is a combination of 7 hours data, in L, Ha (2 Hours each) RGB (1 Hour each).

The Ha image is nice just by itself, the stars can sometimes detract from the image. Anyway I can't work out a nice way to combine the Ha and RGB without everything going Salmon pink. All my usual methods aren't working.

Larger image at the website below.

The Ha looks good in B&W anyway...

Cheers
Stuart

Hi Stuart,

Two very good photos. Sharp and detailed.

I really like the monochrome Ha one.

Thanks.

Ross.

Nicely done with both versions. My favourite is the colour.

Cheers

Hi Stuart

One of my favourite areas of the LMC. You've picked up the Dragon's Head Nebula (top right) which looks great in a big scope.
