The humble bumblebee

I spent a while in the garden trying to get a nice few shots of bees, it wasn't easy. I had the aperture open pretty wide so that I could keep the shutter at 1/4000 - which still proved to not be fast enough, unless you get lucky. The focus was extremely tricky at f1.8, so I resorted to focusing on a flower and sitting in wait and then shooting continuously when one came along. In the end I got just three useful shots!

Thanks for looking,
J
