Meade #1401 Tube Balance Weight System for 8" SCT to permit the balancing of heavy or long-lever-arm accessories attached to the eyepiece-end of the telescope. Each weight assembly attaches to factory-threaded holes provided on the underside of every Meade 8" SCT. Three differing weights are supplied with each unit, permitting considerable variation in the total weight available for balancing. I would prefer for this to be picked up in the Sydney, Australia area or I can deliver it by car within the Sydney, Australia and surrounding area. Otherwise it will have to be posted within Australia. $100

I'm interested in this, but I'm in Perth. If you don't get any interest in a few days or so I might pm you and talk postage. I wouldn't think the size and weight would be that much of an issue through the post, and living in Perth I'm used to having to pay postage for everything anyway.
