Warrumbungle Panorama and AAT

Hi,

Some photos from Siding Spring Observatory. A lovely place to visit. Taken with my Canon 450D. Both are composites of several images stitched together in Photoshop CS5.

Ah.....brings back the memories.

That is one big scope, hey?!

Our family loves the geology of the area - amazing history of volcanism. Makes bushwalks very interesting.

What else did you get up to whilst in Coona?

Just the eclipse (see solar system images) and to relax. Went with my daughter and son in-law who love to bushwalk and had a terrific time.

regards,

Sounds great, Richard. I recently did the Belougery Split Rock walk, it was fantastic!
