Cheers Geezers!
always need tips to get better. M45 was shot between tree branches so glad really any neb came out, when it is on the other side of the tree it is low down in my neighbours pubic looking hedge.
Was unsure of wipe again as didn't want to strike it too black, so left it at add headroom.
I didn't crop Tarantula as I have some shots right next door to the neb I want to glue together as 'baby's first mosaic'!
The coma is a stinker I know and I have often pondered on the MPCC coma corrector, but as has been pointed out on here before, difficult when you use a 2" camera adaptor like mine. And I really like mine.
Will try the lens module.
Did have calibration frames but they were my 'master copies' i.e shot last month with same camera and focuser/telescope. But not at same temperature I think seeing last month was as cold as a grave digger's arse and this month, well yesterday was as a tepid as midnight in a wrestler's armpit.
By the way no one mentioned the fact that this is my first ever nag's head shot - I am ridiculously pleased with it as when you are starting out in astro imaging the equine one keeps rearing up and biting your apples.
I know it's not brilliant but I can see it, like the ghostly prominence of Phar Lap !
Unleash the horses! Go on Argento!, Red Rum, Ed!
