47Tuc
It was a horrible night for imaging. Smoke from multiple burn offs in the district obscured the stars. I could barely see Vega, it was that bad.
It was marginally better to the South, so I chose 47Tuc, seeing how I've never imaged it before.
Just 12 x 2 minutes @ ISO 400.
ED80 and Canon 550D

That's a really good photo Jeanette.
It's sharp and I can see stars right into the core.
Thanks.
Ross.

Top effort Jeanette, colours seen pretty well spot on as well, it is amazing what the scope can do through conditions as you described, well done.

Yes great work, such a dense cluster yet not overexposed in the core. Well done.

Splendid result right to the core, cannot see this as I have a roof in the way, at least its nice and bright target.

cheers everyone , thanks for looking.
Thought I'd get lucky tonight.....clear all day. But 2 new fires have been started. Again, I'm not going to be able to nab the comet. Hate this time of year.

What time did you get that?
Young ladies such as yourself should be tucked up in bed by that time!!

Ha ha. It was an early shot. Spend quite a while processing the image though. Jen, if I'm in bed before 1am, you know I'm feeling poorly. LOL

Nice round stars.
Sometime smoke in the air steadies the seeing. The best shot I got of the M16 pillar area was from my backyard with a 2x barlow. My guiding wasn't up to it but in a few of the subs it showed incredible details. It was one evening when they did backburning.
