The Henize 70 Nebula in the LMC

Hi all
I finally got an image of this bubble type nebula in the LMC. I didnt realise it was so faint, its no brighter then the horsehead nebula! I only got off 3x 5 min images @ISO 1600 before the cloud came in again.
I used the modded 350D, and baader coma corrector and uhcs filter, dark subtracted and processed in Iris, then Noiseware

Well done yet again Scotty! Do I need to remid you to send some clear sky over here!!!...
I notice too on this image a little circle next to the bright star top left of the nebula. Similar to the circle you had next to Alitak in your horsehead shot. Is this one a nebula, or internal reflection?

Yes its some sort of internal reflection, I havent worked out where its coming from as yet, wether from the coma corrector, uhcs filter, or in the camera itself Im not sure. when the moons up I might do some experements with and without those items and see if the reflection remains.
Ive always wanted to catch this little nebula, when the weather finally fully clears I would like to spend an hour on this object, not just 15 mins But yes I could do with some more clear sky hehehehe.

Havent got flat fielding worked out with Iris as yet, when I divided by flat field with this shot it introduced more noise, not something we want

your getting fainter fuzzies and nebs again. For the record I tried your trick last night with camera on said tripod for barnards loop. Didn't get it, the cloud set in too quickly.
when you used noiseware, was this the area you selected in the middle, maybe it is from that? is it in the raw images?

It doesnt appear on shots taken without the UHCS filter from what I can tell. Its on horsehead raw images but not pics taken without the uhcs filter from what I can see. It may be excess infra red light reflecting back from the filter,(if so will dissapear when I get the baader ir cut filter)
yes the cloud is a right royal pain in the butt. I might leave the NAS meeting tonight as soon as it finishes and get back into the imaging if its clear.

Heres a reworked version with the centre darkish area removed. I seem to get better results not using flatfields, at least with Iris anyway, and manually flattening them either with the gradient removal in Iris, or Gradient xterminator in Photoshop.
