Beautiful image Greg. I really appreciate the view, as there is no chance of me getting anything here for a astro fix. All the best.

Thanks Lester. I also fixed the link as the link to regular size actually went to the large.

It is a pretty part of the sky.

Greg.

Looking very nice Greg, lovely colours, looks best shrunk down a bit on the screen to take it all in

Extreme close up! Love that image scale an the colors are superb. A lot of details not usually seen as well. Stellar profiles look a bit clipped/muted in places but other than that it's a corker. Well done.

Thanks Mark, Yes I noticed there were some stars that seemed muted.
I have fixed that now. Thanks for letting me know.

Cheers,

Greg.

Beautiful vista Greg !!
I did what Strongman did, I shrunk the original down a bit to take it all in.
Gorgeous.

Gorgeous.

Cheers Andrew. I fixed up the link so it goes to the regular size instead of the large size.

Thanks Darren. The reducer on this scope makes a wonderful accessory. It was one of the reasons I chose the Planewave as they are one of the only large scope makers that offer a reducer.

This one's a real winner Greg! Well processed with lovely colours. Possibly one of your best CDK's IMHO.

Cheers

I concur with all positive comments made. The Ha+R blend is near perfect with this image Greg. The balance of emission and reflection nebulosity coming through is fantastic. The CDK is really humming now. Great work, more please.

Gee thanks Steve. I did take a lot of time with the processing.
Also the 2x2 binned Ha was really very good.

Thanks Jase. Ha blends are a difficult thing to tame. I now try to keep them more muted. They can run away from you easily.

There were a lot of versions of this one before I settled on this one.

Thanks Humi. I think I have settled on a format with the CDK finally
(2 formats really).

Thanks Darrin.

I have imaged this one before but it didn't turn out like I had hoped and I am happier with this one.

Greg.

Took another sneak peek of this image Greg. In viewing your portfolio, I think this is probably the best CDK image you've produced. Sure the others are great, but this certainly stands out. Again, well done.
