Avalon beach rock pool

I finally got out with the camera last week after a long period of not getting any new photos, at least nothing worthwhile. Patience was not my greatest value that night, however I was determined to get at least SOMETHING.

It was cold, windy and very dark, only a single flood light with a horrible yellow light lit the area, and honestly I didn't think there would be anything from that night.

This is the only image that turned out reasonably well... I am still upset with a few details, however my photoshop skills are no where near good enough (read non-existent) so it's coming to you as-is.. Any comments would be appreciated.

That's a really interesting composition, Jeff.

I'd black and white it up.

OOh yeah! Agree with H here totally. The texture and tone demands it!

Noice!

Thank you all for your kind words

Alistairsam: A white balance correction brought the colour to pretty much the right place, though there was also some slight adjustment after that.

Thanks H and Baz, I did originally have a black and white export but went for the colour for now. Shall definitely be looking at black and white again though
