"Scanned copy" with no quality guaranty doesnt make me think its worth much more than $3.30. The originals probably in a library here somewhere? would be a good read. Seems an odd thing for an ebayer to scan? or maybe they duck down to the library and scan if there is any interest?

Peter, there are numerous interesting titles on that site.
Just search for words like Astronomy, Telescopes, Binary Stars, Spectrometry, Herschel etc.

Obviously most of the books are quite old but still very interesting.

I download the Epub versions for my Sony EReader. Epub files are Small compared to the PDF ones.

Michael.
