Last night I decided to revisit the ever so popular Southern Pinwheel Galaxy. My last attempt was when the moon was at around 50%, this time I think I have nailed it as close as ill ever get with my type of setup for now.
Its by no means the best, and any recommendations are very welcome. Taken form Darwin with a newton 8 inch on a Neq6 pro.
45x40sec unguided lights.
10 Darks.
Target degrees ranged from 45-35.
Thank you Marc and Carl for your kind comments. I'll try and fix the clipping with this one and get it spot on later. As you probably noticed as well my focuser is still out of alignment. Marc im going to take your advice in earlier posts and purchasing a tap and die to add anther two screw points, try get rid of that tear drop look to the stars.
