thanks acropolite - I tuned in and it was an excellent show...I have never heard 'pidgeon poo' referred to as 'white dielectric material' before!!!

Yeah I was the same, too much stargazing over the past couple of nights, HRH kept prodding me and asking "Are you asleep", so I got to see 90% of it...

I started watching it last night, a day later. Execllent viewing. Got up to the bit where he said to Hoyle "you're wrong!" It is a pitty it had to happen to such a brilliant mind...there are so many other "famous" people who would have been more suited to such a misfortune!


With the huge selection lately on TV I record everything I want to see, usually late at night, so I have SOMETHING to watch at a more suitable time.
