Nice work Tom. That is quite a range of equipment/sensor configurations you must have deployed to capture this event at the various image scales – you obviously had quite a busy morning!

Cheers

Dennis

Hi Dennis,

Thanks. I used my Canon EOS 550D with the 12" Sky-Watcher Goto Dobsonian for the Jupiter/Venus closeup (one image), then added 4x teleconverters and used video crop mode for the close planet shots, and the camera with a 50mm lens on a tripod for the scene.

It was a little busy and I was misplaced to properly catch the ISS passing by the planets. I also wanted to catch Uranus and Neptune but the conjunction looked so good!

Cheers,

Tom

Great images Tom.
So sharp, and the Jupiter Moons easily visible in the wide shot.
