Well with everything thats been happening of late i havn't had much time to do anything at all. Though a recent semester break and a few saturdays in the workshop making goodies has proven its worth.
Here is the first proper image taken with the qhy9+OAG+EQ6+254
Uni has been polverising me to the point of no return.
I still have to work on my setup with collimation its off a bit as can be seen by the flare on the stars, but its all a matter of sitting down and doing it properly. I do have to say though the OAG is the best thing i have ever made, oh its heven!
Thanks all for your comments its good to see that the 254 is starting to churn out some high quality images. Even if it was uncollimated! ( see my other post for the rundown on that!)
Dont worry Uni is always my first priority, its too important to put on the afterburner not to mention too expensive!
I'm a bit late to the party, but I just wanted to compliment you on these images. The Eta Carina one in its full glory in particular is especially good and refreshing in its framing. That's top notch stuff Brendan!
