It is worth the trip to attend NEAF...truly remarkable to see the gear and meet the people...

It is a bit surreal to see the equipment...all types and every Astro knick-knack you can imagine.

There are fabulous demonstration/presentations too but for me the kicker is being able to walk up and meet/shake hands with the movers and shakers of the hobby. As you walk around you can meet people like Al Nagler (and the rest of the Televue team), Roland C. from AstroPhysics etc.

You name the company and if they are in the US Astronomy Hobby Market, they are there.

It is a remarkable event.
