Here's my first go at the Sun today. I recently got an offset mask with solar filter for my 12" Dobsonian and used it today with my Canon EOS 550D. There's plenty of work to do to get the best out of the setup.
Won't be long Tom and you'll get the Ha bug.Look foward to the progress of this setup. I find a green filter works well with the white light shots through a DSLR.
