I'm just happy that you made the effort to get out there Tony.
The second rendition looks much better.

OK, here is my pathetic effort. First time ever attempted. Olympus E500 with T-Ring and tube attachments at prime focus on my Celestron 6SE. Extension tube too long for 4/3 system, so had to stitch together two pics. Foucus difficult and moon too low for good quality, especiallyl in hot cloudy skies with much heatwaves moving up through atmosphere. Still playing with various camera settings. Pic taken last night, 21st. Focus just too long to get all moon.

Not making you look bad at all Tony, you have far better contrast than mine. You acutally stimulated me to get off my butt and do something!
