Apparently the northern cap of Saturn extends into another universe?

Hi,

I know most serious astronomers out there are somewhat wary when someone talks about the metaphysical universe etc...

I just remembered something I saw in regards to some observations of Saturn done by one of the NASA probes. It was on a documentary and in some NASA article published by NASA. It explained how observations of the north polar cap of Saturn is covered by a giant hexagon shaped cloud formation. Well we all know that a spining planet does not have hexagon shaped clouds, right?

Well it happens that scientists at NASA worked out that according to the physics of time and space and how it is affected by mass creates this phenomena. Basically they go on to say that this hexagonal cloud part of Saturn extends into another universe/dimension. crazy? perhaps.

Anyone know how this works exactly and if they can explain it in layman's terms?

Thanks for that.

Thanks for that Brendan,

I can see how the phenomena is created through natural forces of nature etc...but how can NASA scientists compute that the effects of this phenomena causes the cloud to extend into another universe/dimension?

I think I did not explained myself correctly prior. What I meant to convey is that the effects of the phenomena causes the cloud to extend into another universe, not that somehow because it extends into another universe, it creates the hexagonal formation.

I wish I could find the original article I read from NASA. I would not have a clue where to start though.

There ya go.
No need for other universes or dimensions. Strange as lots of phenomenon seem, so far, they all have a rational, uni-dimensional explanation.
Multi-dimensionists, Platonists, String Theorists and other religious fanatics need to show actual, replicatable, incontravertible, empirically verifiable PROOF of these 'other universes'.
Otherwise, it's just philosophy with dodgy numbers and symbols.
