With sadness I feel I need to put my big viewing scope up for sale.
This fairly large telescope with a 12" primary mirror so is more suited for a backyard or more permanent observatory rather than continual assembly/disassembly of packing it up for weekends and star parties. Since I have no backyard being near the city, it is less useful to me than my smaller refractor which is easy to pack.
It is about 15 months old with mirrors, eyepieces in good condition. Slight wear around the truss assembly points probably from trying to assemble it in complete darkness.
This is a 1.5m long truss tube. It is easy to assemble even in the dark as the truss has knob screws attached to it. With the 12" mirror, this makes it an F/5.0. The mount has two rotary encoders embedded in it so you get an Intelliscope object finder that tells you to move the scope left, right, up, down by how far to get to your target.
The scope packs up into a large metal box I got from supercheap auto. The mount however is one-piece, and I don't recommend disassembly.
